Tourism Thesis Topic on Guimaras

Angelo : Hey Ryan, I just thought of a very interesting topic for my thesis.
I’m planning to focus on the province of Guimaras.
Could you suggest a good thesis title for that?
It could be on how the tourism industry on the province was revived,
or it could be more on sustaining the place.

Ryan: Hi Angelo,
Honestly, I am not a good source for that information but I think your choice of Guimaras and how it recovered from the devastating oil spill would be an excellent topic. The last time I was in Guimaras was probably 11 years ago and I have known some people who contributed in the cleanup that followed after the spill over there. I would probably advise you to contact your thesis adviser for the proper title- or you may check with the UP Asian Institute of Tourism, the Representative of Guimaras province as well other major stakeholders in the area (Department of Environment and Natural Resources, DOT-Guimaras, and affected LGU units) to guide you. What about- “Environmentally-sound Strategies for Sustainable Tourism in Guimaras Island”. I wish I could be of more help.
