Single female traveller in Philippines

One great thing about Filipinos is that they are very courteous with the female locals as well as travellers. Chivalry is not dead among the male locals of the Philippines. You can simply wear shorts or sleeveless shirts which is common for a tropical country. However, you must watch out for your belongings at all times. Although Philippines is known for being hospitable with the foreign travellers, there are still some who would take advantage of the unsupervised belongings especially your wallet, bags, and jewelleries. It is also not advisable to wear to many valuable accessories such as gold rings, bracelets, and necklaces especially if you will be shopping at the bargain stores located in Divisoria or Baclaran.
