Thanks for giving me ideas about what we can do as part of our land trip from Manila to Batangas to Mindoro to Caticlan to Bacolod. We've been doing this ro-ro trip for at least 6 years and never thought of seeing places in between Batangas and Manila. Too bad we're travelling with two little boys. A return to Pagsanjan falls would have been most welcome.

Better try the 1st buko pie of Los Banos "The Original Buko Pie" or Lety's (2nd yet the best[according to them])... Here in Los Banos, most of us do eat buko pies, coming from these two "brands".

Dampalit Falls, though affordable, does not offer much of something incredible. The water quickly turns brown...

Hi! Ryan,

We are planning to visit Pagsanjan fall on the second week of May this year, the service fee that you have listed was 2009, can you tell me how much does it cost to pay the boatmen now for 2012? what is the proper tips for them after, I read some blog that we have to buy food for the boatmen too? do you have any to do or not to do list? this will be our first visit to Laguna, hopefully we will have a good experience.

Hi AM,

When I went there I caught a bus from Taft Ave. The trip to Pagsanjan took a couple of hours. The boat ride to the falls and back was also about 2 hours.

Thanks for that information. I guess they have finally closed down the center. Will research on the new site and maybe update the info. :) Right now I am just a little busy as I moved countries. Will update this site often....

Cheers,

As of July when I originally posted nothing was there and it had look abandoned for some months...I have the pictures to verify it. Everything was overgrown and broken down. I checked Quezon city (asked around and check the internet at the time) and couldn't find it there either. I am back in the U.S. now. Trust me I was there for 6months and studied at UPLB....everyone said it was there but the students never go there anymore most probably don't know it ceased to exists. I even have pictures of the little tags from the owls that used to be there.
