that's very true. that's been like a tradition for years, to carry the passengers to and from the boat. i found it exciting even in my childhood years, gotten used to it and still finds it amusing and very thrilling. So, i always look forward to going now and then to Caramoan. ;)

My mom's home town is in Cam Sur and most of our trips since my childhood going to this province is via different bus liners. The ride from Manila to Naga City wouldn't be 10-12 hours but an average of 8-9 hours (this includes the stop overs). Not unless if the bus has engine trouble which is unlikely or its a day trip where there is a bigger possibility for heavy traffic or road mishaps. The night trip (departs around 7-9pm from Manila) is the best schedule for commuters because not only you'll just sleep along the ride but it has the quickest travel time commonly. Sometimes, it even take less than 8 hours if you have a skilled driver and there are lesser stopovers. ;)

I love CWC. Stay in their cool wooden cabins. I highly recommend it. The "cabinville" makes you think you are in "pleasantville." I'll keep on coming back to Cam Sur 'til i perfect my wakeboarding skills. :)
