Buses from Tuguegarao or Laoag City to Rice Terraces

Krista: Hello, I’m looking at visiting the Philippines and while I’m there I really want to see the Rice Terraces. I was wondering what buses I could take from Tuguegarao or Laoag City. Also the times for each of these trips and when they would leave.

Ryan: HI Krista, I am planning to take the Tuguegarao-Tabuk-Banawe-Sagada route possibly this October, I am thinking that there are buses that can take you from there. I can’t say for sure if they are reliable or you may have to ride jeepneys at some point. Another route could be Tuguegarao-Baguio-Banawe as this should be a more familiar route. From Laoag, I don’t think there are buses going to Banawer at all. But you can do the Laoag-Baguio-Banawe route. I spied buses heading to Baguio from Laoag while I was in La Union a couple of months ago.
