Wow! I just received a link to your site from a friend this morning and your site’s already on my fave list! I just love your posts (and the inserted pics). It’s nice to see bloggers like you showing the positive side of the philippines, especially these days when negativity is everywhere due to the recent events.. sigh* But hey, your site put up a smile to my face as well as to some of my friends. :)

I’d also like to say thank you for featuring Batangas and recommending my home town – San Juan! Would also recommend Virgin and Kabayan Beach Resorts in Laiya (San Juan). I don’t have contacts anymore as I’m out of the country but I believe they have sites you can check out.

Thanks again and hope see more posts . Will surely be sharing this site to my friends. :)

Someone there who know the rates in Bonito Island if we spen an overnight there?
Were only 6 person. How much kaya our expenses staying in Bonito Resort.

Hi Adri,

Matabungkay is closer. San Juan is on the opposite side of Batangas and I believe you have to go through Lipa to get there.

Hi Al, I think Anilao is not much of a swimming beach. Some parts are too rocky for swimming. I’d suggest San Juan Laiya in Batangas instead. I saw these list of resorts in Laiya where they have better beaches -

how much would it cost for 8 adult,and 4 toddlers ?

mabini anilao batangas -

we are planing to go by day and stay by night -

im the one who will be shouldered all the cost of this trip and i have no idea how much would it cost me for staying in a small room.

im on a tight budget, so it will be a big help if you can refer me in a nice but cheap place to stay- we just want to enjoy the beaches.. specially my 2 kids … i want them to experience their first beach swimming.

Hi Gar-J,

Your best bet of doing a hassle free trip to and from San Benito would be to arrange a private car/van. I went to a farm somewhere on the way to San Benito last year and the it was on a nondescript dirt road with not much of signs. It is way off from the main highway so I don;t think a bus will help you. You can try contact the Farm via their website I am sure they would be happy to assist you. :) Hope that helps!

Hi! Just stumbled upon this site at the right time. Am planning to go to The Farm at San Benito either Friday for an overnight stay till Saturday or just a one-day trip on Saturday. I am traveling all by myself. Would like to get your inputs on how it’s best for me to get to The Farm..taking into consideration travel costs vis-a-vis travel time and travel comfort. I don’t know the place so I am not familiar if the roads leading to the Farm is smooth or rough. Will you recommend I take the bus and whatever else to get me to the exact destination? Or should I take the rent-a-car option? Whatever you’ll suggest, could you possibly include what aircon bus to take and the cost if I’ll be coming from Makati? And then if you will recommend a rent-a-car, can you suggest a cheap but reliable service? I am a lady already in my golden years and would just like to gift myself with this trip alone to The Farm. Any inputs from you would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
