autobus is the worst bus line in the philippines. we hired autobus to take us north of luzon. i caught the driver drinking tanduay, after i respectfully called his attention and told him to cease his doings the driver challenged me to a fist fight. since the driver was drunk , our bus ran on a flat tire for several kilometers while passing cars flashed their headlights to call our attentionbut the driver was insistent that nothing was wrong. me and my colleages were driven mad with fear as we were skirted along the cordillera mountainsides.

We hired the services of Autobus transport systems last January 23,2010. The drivers were not only rude and sarcastic, they even had the nerve of making their own itenerary simply because they have made prior arrangements with Dely's Pasalubong in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. My students were tired and hungry so the natural stop (and this WAS the designated stop) was Mushroomburger. Instead they were brought to this pasalubong shop that sold buko pie. They insisted that this was the designated stop but how logical would it be that we would stop there to buy buko pie when loads of buko pie are made (i.e. Letty's and Orient ORIGINAL buko pie) and sold in Los Banos?!?

Even if the drivers were told not to stop there, they still did. For a faculty, this signaled an unacceptable security breach. A lot of things could have gone wrong because of the driver's decision to make their own itineraries. We were not familiar with the place nor did we inform the parent's about this unplanned stop.

For the the life of me, hell will freeze over first before we hire them again.
